Shake It Off Superbowl !

 

Taylor Swift flew in from her Tokyo concert to Las Vegas for the 58th Super Bowl Game to cheer for her Kansas City Chiefs star boyfriend, Travis Kelce. Taylor has helped boost female fans for his football team. Taylor's Super Bowl black dress cost over $20,000. If you want to buy a seat in the Super Bowl stand, it can cost up to $9000. However, if you want to buy a box to see the Summer Olympics in Paris, it can cost $100 million. So I guess the Super Bowl is a deal! 

Fans from all over the world watched the Kansas City Chiefs play the San Francisco 49ers in Super Bowl LVIII at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas. Lady Gaga, Blake Shelton, Gwen Stefani, and Jay-Z were among some of the celebrities at the game. We watched it from home. I could see Taylor, Blake Lively, Lady Gaga, and Jay Z up close from home on our big screen TV. I like the Super Bowl commercials too.

I turned on the TV an hour early and saw Taylor Swift is in the house! There were security warnings to allow Taylor to enter peacefully. She wore a black dress with a designer red bomber jacket draped over her shoulder. Taylor sat high up in an expensive box with her mom, Blake Lively, and Ice Spice. The Queen of Country, Reba McEntire sang the National Anthem at age 68. Then super jets flew over the stadium. My husband ran out our front door to see the planes. We live only eight miles from Allegiant Stadium. The kickoff is coming up next! 

This football game is a tradition watched around the world. It also represents profits for advertisers, hotels, and ten-million-dollar commercials. Apple Music sponsored Usher for the halftime show. Usher's videos and life-size pop-ups were distributed to local Apple Stores. Our daughter-in-law managed this Apple Music promotion for the Super Bowl.                                 

The game continues. I haven't seen Taylor for half an hour now. Is Kelce's mother in the same box as Taylor? I haven't seen her on camera since the beginning of the game. They just showed Taylor with her arms around her two girlfriends when her boyfriend was close to making a touchdown. Will he score just before halftime? No, he didn't and the score is now 10 to 3 with Kansas City ahead. 

The Sphere has been featured in Super Bowl displays all week. During the game breaks, they showed the Sphere and commercials with Arnold Schwarzenegger, Tina Fey, Glenn Close, Laura Dern, Vince Vaughn, and Bradley Cooper. Jennifer Lopez showed some attitude toward her husband Ben Affleck in a Dunkin Donuts commercial. Even Nickelodeon TV had its first Super Bowl television broadcast for children. 

Usher starred in the $13 million 'Half-Time' show. I wonder how Taylor is feeling now that her boyfriend's team is lagging behind on the scoreboard. It's almost time for the halftime show and Usher is ready to perform sponsored by Apple. Usher danced across the football field in a white suit with a multitude of dancers. A cat girl was playing the guitar while roller skaters were break dancing. Some other artists were Alicia Keys and Ludacris.

The Vegas Superbowl had a variety of commercials with couch potatoes, the Navy, Anthony Hopkins, and more. Mahone had a great football gameplay in the third quarter and Taylor Swift cheered from her box behind a tinted window. Wow, and then just like that Travis Mahone scored a touchdown for Kansas City! As he held the football high, Travis and Taylor kind of looked the same when they cheered! 

The game got even more exciting when Kelce made a 20-yard catch into an easy field goal possession. Then it went into overtime. Talk about tense! Kansas City won with a big drive led by Mahone for the final score of 25 to 22.  Taylor jumped up and down at the end of one of the longest Super Bowls in history. Mahone even won the MVP! Then Travis Kelce sang 'Viva Las Vegas' before receiving a big hug and kiss from Taylor who was almost in tears. Shake it off  'Superbowl 2024'!
